Nice to see

Friday I caught the female Hairy Woodpecker feeding her young on at my feeder.

Thinking that the time is fast approaching to get out with my camera again! Over to you.

They grow wild

They wear their seeds "on their sleeves". They are first fruit to ripen in the spring and the only fruit with its seeds on the outside. There is a museum in Belgium just for them. In Bavaria some people still tie baskets of wild ones on the horns of their cattle as an offering to elves.
STRAWBERRIES are celebrated in the Township of Rideau Lakes where the Horticultural Society had its first Annual Strawberry Social (June 20th 2015) feted by Judi Longstreet on Harp and John Atkinson on flute.
