Canada Day 2016

The air was so full of birdsong in this morning’s sunrise, Molly and I were not sure we could get through it to the mist-draped lake at 5:00 a.m.
A loon called as it flew over the Isthmus on its daily migration from the Little Rideau to Newboro Lake.
A bull frog serenaded us from his rush-lined abode.
A fish snapped  the water strider.
Hot coffee- night dress- slippers- at the lake- being deeply thankful to live in Canada. Happy Canada Day everyone.
